Btween the boxes is the bleed zone and outside the red box is the cut off, which will be lost when the page goes to the printers. |

Gothic Elle This is one of the first finished drawing of Elle. She started out as a goth, but later her design changed. |

Kay - working sketch Kay has the same features but displays post-modern tendencies in clothing derived from Jean-Paul Gautier. (I have a habit of doodling in biro, and on any paper within reach.) |
| Roman Cypher He started as just a doodle in my sketch book, and then his history took form under my pencil on the page next to him. Before long I saw him flirting with Kay and Elle and the next day I emailed Damian about him. He agreed and Roman became an important member of HS. His history is sordid to say the least. Unwanted child of a drug dealer and an Indian Japanese slave bride, parents dying when he was barely a year old, he was left at the local run down orphanage by a beggar man who wanted the abandoned room. Raised by the old couple who ran the home he ran away and was forced to sell his body on the streets. After one particular night he was found unconscious in the park in the early hours by a young man going home from work. The stranger took pity on the youth and carried him home. The man, one Luke Sholl, becomes Roman's guardian. They had a strange and deep relationship that is kept hidden from the rest of the world. |

| Luke Sholl Luke Sholl is a mysterious character. Born of rich parents he roamed the streets like a beggar kid against his parent wishes. There he met the orphan Roman Cyper who lived in the local 'home' with many other abandoned kids and runaways. Roman intrigued Luke, being from the opposite side of life; the two got into trouble but Roman ran away shortly after. Luke finished school (via a private tutor) whilst still very young. Running away aged 15 to a town close to Medley College he works several part time jobs to pay for his own tiny flat. He shuns his family and their millions, opting to make his own way. He does the milk run in the morning, works at a greasy repair garage in the country side during the day, and has a bar job at a local pub/club in town at night. His transport is the garage's old banger, a Ford Fiesta which is older than he is. |

Karh Landis Best friend to Kip he is wild at a party and wild outside of one. He drums in Teen Royaltea, when fit enough as at the start of Heartstrings he has a damaged wrist from a druken arm wrestling match in the local pub. Despite his antics he is a loyal friend and confidante for Kip. |
| Young Roman This is the first picture of Roman as a young man. He is aged probably around 14/15 here, working the streets for money. He looks older than he is, helped by the fact that he is already 5.10 ft in height. Opencanvas work |
