Yes. I am a great Saiyuki fan. I love those boys! I love the original legend as well, Journey to the West is one of my favourite stories, and that awful show 'Monkey' that they made some years back based on JthW was hillarious!!

Hakkai has to be my favourit character from the series so far, Ive only got up to vol 3 of the manga, because 4 hasnt been realeased yet!!

Ok, I have just finished chapter 1, and man was that tough. Not only have I just found a full time job, but the original deadline was bumped forward by some weeks. But I have finished it and have sent it on to Damian (I think I gave the poor guy a heart attack.. as well as heartstrings). Strangly enough I don't want to take a break, I want to get on with the next chapter. This script has captured my imagination and I love working on it, even with a deadline hanging over my head and inspiration far from reach. I find the characters themselves guide me. *Hugs Roman tightly* He will always be my baby... ^_^ The first one I suggested for Heartstrings.

The threat of stroke was not as bad as she makes it out. Kami is super responsible, and I was confident that she'd get the art work to me, I just wanted to get the pages to the contest on time. In the next few weeks I plan on finishing the first voulme of the Heartstrings script.

Well.. it has been a few weeks and not much has happened. I have had artists block, which I think Im now beating, but Ive just got a virus.

Damian has been amazing, the script looks fabulus. As soon as Im better I will start working on the next chapter. If anyone wants to help out they are very welcome, Id love a copy of the latest RSOM book from tokyopop. Oh yeah! The contest is judged and we didnt get selected for the top 10. ;_;

For the benefit of aspiring Manga-ka (like myself) this is part of the script that Kami worked from. From my experience there is no set way to organize a script. But this is the style I use.

Elle and Kip in the bathroom.

Elle:

Kip:

Don't mind them...a bunch of idiots.
